The Modern MBA is a community for MBAs coming from or going into more unorthodox career areas. We're a place to find inspiration and share stories on MBA career paths, MBA jobs, business school applications and more.

WHO YOU ARE

An MBA coming from outside of the classic consulting/finance/MNC backgrounds who wants to transition into a career in these areas; or wanting to explore options outside of the usual post-MBA path (for example in the arts, education, family businesses or not for profits).

WHAT WE DO 

Talk to MBAs who have taken less common career paths and share their stories and advice through articles, interviews, podcasts and (one day...) events!

 

WHY?

Because telling your story is difficult and students from less traditional industries or functions might feel unsure of where their skills fit in or what their options are. Whether you want to transition from an unorthodox career path into a classic corporate role, or explore post-MBA opportunities on lesser trodden paths, we hope that by hearing the success stories of like-minded people, you can figure out ways to better find yours.
